I saw a pair of up-cycled ballet slippers on one of my favorite blogs The Feathered Nest
They were so cute I had to make a pair too!
As luck would have it I had a pair of pink ballet shoes in my stash.I have to admit, painting them was a bit more time consuming than I had anticipated as they required several coats.
I love the way they turned out.
These are listed in my Etsy shop.
These exquisitely beautiful and oh so precious! Perfect for my granddaughter's bedroom. Tell me, was there a tutorial for these at Feathered Nest. I checked and didn't see once. I'd love to do a pair in light lavender!

ReplyDeleteJudy, I sent you an email with a link to the original post on The Feathered Nest and some other info. Please let me know if you didn't receive it.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh! I LOVE these!
ReplyDeleteYou are a girl after my own heart!
I love vintage ballet dresses, slippers and toe shoes. I've altered several pairs of ballet slippers and toe shoes and featured them on my blog. Hope you will visit and check them out.
